About Woodbridge On The Derwent in New Norfolk
Woodbridge is a privately owned, family business. We have lived our adult lives traveling the world, and when not traveling, we have welcomed friends and family to share the beautiful places that we have called home. Woodbridge brings together these two pleasures for us. Similarly, our staff are under Woodbridge’s spell, and this passion shows in everything they do.
We restored Woodbridge in 2005, and after much deliberation as to what her future should be, we started operating her as a Small Luxury Hotel in 2007. In 2009 our son was hit by a drunk driver in WA, and so, no sooner was Woodbridge on the Derwent operating, than it was closed down. Woodbridge was closed until the end of 2012, when we three returned to Tasmania.
Our vision for Woodbridge is to develop it as a viable business entity, which will ensure its survival long after we are out of the picture. We invite you to share the journey. It will be our pleasure to welcome you to Woodbridge.
